On this occasion, female workers and sisters tied protective threads around the wrists of their brothers.

New Delhi, 27 August 2026.

The Bharatiya Janata Party Shahadra district office celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan in Vijnan Lok with great joy, enthusiasm, and a warm, affectionate atmosphere. The event was enthusiastically attended by district organization officials, women front workers, and a large number of BJP workers.

The event was organized under the leadership of Women Front President Aparna Goyal. On this occasion, female workers and sisters tied Raksha Sutra on their brothers' wrists, strengthening feelings of love, trust, affection, and brotherhood. Throughout the event, the entire district office was filled with a familial and festive ambience.

At the occasion, District Officer Dr. Anil Gupta, District President Deepak Gaba, District Vice President Suhil Upadhyay, District Treasurer Kaushal Aggarwal, Office Manager Ashok, District Spokesperson Vinit Jain, and Amit Qatra, along with a large number of BJP officials and workers, were present.

The event saw the dignified presence of many women workers and sisters, including Ravita Tyagi, Reena Gagan Prakash, Geeta Sharma, Chhavi Kala Singh, Ruchi Aggarwal, Reenu Gupta, Varsha Gaur, and Bibiya Khanna.

Raksha Bandhan is an important festival of Indian culture, which conveys the message of love, trust, respect, protection, and social unity, alongside the sacred bond of brother‑sister relationships. Through the event, BJP workers further strengthened feelings of mutual harmony and organizational unity.

At the occasion, the attendees wished each other a happy Raksha Bandhan and pledged to continue advancing service activities for the benefit of society and the nation. The active participation of women workers further enhanced the dignity and enthusiasm of the event.

At the conclusion of the event, everyone resolved not to confine the sacred festival of Raksha Bandhan merely to the brother‑sister relationship, but to strengthen mutual affection, respect, cooperation, and harmony within society. The attendees said that such events bind the organization’s workers like a family and strengthen the sense of service towards society.

The Shahadra district BJP family extended heartfelt wishes for Raksha Bandhan to all sisters, mothers, and residents of the area, wishing them happiness, prosperity, and a blissful life.
