'Running India' ignites new aspirations among youth, with village youth set to run under the leadership of former soldier Jaysinh Dhanaka.

In the Army Ground at Parshuram Chowk, Toda Brahmin, located in the Virat Nagar Assembly Constituency, a splendid “Bhagta Bharat” running competition was held. The event provided a strong platform for the hidden talent, enthusiasm, and patriotic zeal of rural youth. A large number of youngsters from various nearby villages participated, showcasing their physical abilities and running skills.

The primary aim of the event was to inspire youth to better prepare physically for recruitment into the Indian Army and paramilitary forces. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the outset, and with every stride on the field, the passion for serving the nation was unmistakable.

The “Bhagta Bharat” campaign was led in the presence of former soldier and former BSP MLA candidate Jay Singh Dhanuka. Having served in the army, Dhanuka described the event as a significant initiative in linking youth with sports and physical fitness. He said that village youth possess talent and diligence, and they merely need the right platform and guidance.

In the 400‑metre race, Mukesh Singh Shekhawat from Bahadurpur secured first place. Deependra Rathore of Bahadurpur finished second, and Suresh Bhadana took third. In the 800‑metre race, Rohit Shekhawat of Bahadurpur won first place. Hemraj from Saradhana, a resident of Toda Brahmin, came second, and Amit Bagawas finished third.

All winning athletes were honored with medals and T‑shirts. In addition to the winners, all participating youth were encouraged to keep working hard for even better performances in the future.

The running competition was inaugurated with a green flag. The contributions of all collaborators and guests involved in making the event successful were acknowledged. Former soldier Manoj Lambooria served as a guide during the program.

On this occasion, Jay Singh Dhanuka extended bright future wishes to all winning athletes and urged the youth to participate actively in sports and maintain regular practice. He said that only strong and disciplined youth can build a robust future for the nation.

“Bhagta Bharat” is not just a running competition; it has emerged as an initiative to propel rural youth toward fitness, sports, and national service. The run that sprang from the Army Ground in Toda Brahmin will be a testament to how many young people it will eventually lead to the uniforms of the army and paramilitary forces.
