On this occasion, she handed over a detailed proposal paper to the Chief Minister concerning the honor, representation, and inclusive development of the Gurjar community of western Uttar Pradesh.

Mahamedha Nagar said that the Gurjar community has always stood with national interest and nationalist ideology, making a significant contribution to the state’s development. It is their duty to convey the community’s long‑term expectations and sentiments to the administration.

The proposal paper submitted to the Chief Minister includes the following seven major points—

1. Appointment of a qualified and experienced Gurjar representative to the vacant seat in the Other Backward Classes Commission.

3. Formal recognition of national heroes such as Kotwal Dhan Singh Gurjar, a pioneer of the 1857 First War of Independence, and Vijay Singh Pathik, a leader of the Bijoliya peasant movement, and a proposal to declare a memorial day in their names.
4. Establishment of hostels in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Saharanpur and naming them after great personalities such as Raja Nain Singh, Jograj Singh Gurjar, and Pratap Rao Gurjar.
5. Establishment of a physical‑training institute in Gautam Buddha Nagar, where, under the guidance of former soldiers, youth can systematically prepare for recruitment examinations of police, paramilitary forces, and the army.
6. Recommendation to grant Deemed University status to Gochar College, Rampur Maniharan (Saharanpur) and Mihir Bhoj Post‑Graduate College, Dadri (Gautam Buddha Nagar).
7. Re‑examination of the Panchayat system in Gautam Buddha Nagar and a suggestion to further strengthen rural representation.

Special focus on youth and women empowerment

During the meeting, there was an extensive discussion on various topics related to the aspirations of the Gen‑Z generation, women’s empowerment, and social welfare. Mahamedha Nagar highlighted that youth and women are at the centre of all her proposals.

She said that the establishment of hostels and the physical‑training institute will provide new education and employment opportunities to youth in rural and semi‑urban areas. Likewise, granting Deemed University status will give a new direction to the expansion and quality of higher education in western Uttar Pradesh. Naming a women’s PAC unit after the valiant Dhauala Gurri will become a powerful symbol of respect and pride for women’s power.
